Personal information may include personal descriptors; identification numbers (SSS/GSIS/TIN, deposit and credit card numbers); ethnicity; financial and employment data; credit records; criminal records; life/social status; and education history. Sensitive personal and privileged information are processed only under the exceptions allowed by law (consent, legal mandate, or protection of legal claims / court proceedings).
EqB may use and share personal information with accredited affiliates or authorized third parties for service delivery, information you requested, promotional offers (unless you object), credit review and risk analysis, completing transactions, referrals, cross-selling, and legal or regulatory needs. EqB is not in the business of selling personal information. Disclosure may be made upon request of BSP, AMLC, CIC, BIR, NPC, or pursuant to lawful orders.
EqB protects personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, alteration, disclosure, and unlawful processing. Data is retained only as long as necessary for the declared purpose, legal claims, or legitimate business purposes consistent with industry and regulatory standards, then disposed of securely. Disclosure within EqB is need-to-know; confidentiality continues after resignation or contract end.
